Those are the colors that are stuck in my subconscious right now.
Fall has reached Anchorage.

I have been working like crazy trying to get some new stuff made. I recently finished a scarf while watching an amazing documentary on Miles Davis. I introduce to you the Miles Electric Scarf (shown in marigold).

It’s available in six colors and is 100% wool. It’s lightweight and long enough to wrap around your neck a few times. It will be listed in the shop in the next couple of days.

the great postcard swap

the haps: my summer so far…

my summer started with a little vacation to denver, co. i went to visit family and meet my long time sisterfriend (we met online over 10 years ago!) miss holly k. hurd. thanks to her, i was able to showcase my wears at a couple of venues – one venue being the wonderful gypsy house cafe. i met some lovely people and had an awesome time exploring with my daughter.

the trip was just what i needed. i came home filled with inspiration/motivation/determination and couldn’t wait to start working on some new stuff. a fall/winter line is in the works. i’m looking forward to the months to come.

has it really been four months since my last post? what can i say? a sista has been going through some changes. knitting and crocheting has been the last thing on my mind that’s for sure. i’m grateful for the time and i can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

the school year is coming to an end and to celebrate, lil miss and i are going to spend a little time in denver, co. i will be mixing a little business with pleasure as i will be selling my wears while i’m there. i’m pretty excited about it and have my girl holly kai to thank for the opportunity. stay tuned for more details.

spring has finally reached anchorage! the ducks, geese, and gulls have returned and the leaves are starting to sprout on the trees. i love this time of year.
