Should be thinking about Spring…
but I can’t stop thinking about all the woollie goodness I can make next fall. Wow. I just got thru watching the Science of Sleep and have been inspired by all of the felted animals and things. Oh, and the cellophane water. I can’t forget about the water.
Wool in the spring? Is it doable? Living in Alaska, I find that I am able to wear wool in the middle of summer (depending on the weather conditions). When Spring rolls around I think, “this is my chance to work with cotton”, but I still always end up working with wool. It’s a neverending battle I have with myself.
Blessings.
B.flywears is now @ Dos Manos!
Greetings All,
Just wanted to let you know that Butta.fly Wears is now available at Dos Manos. Dos Manos is a gallery located here in Anchorage that is a mix between a co-op and a collaborative gallery. Everything sold in the shop is handmade and locally connected (the owners are even artists themselves).
A few of my artist friends had suggested that I check Dos Manos out, so I finally did. I was in love with the place as soon as I walked through the door. You must check them out if you’re in the area.

sometimes i try to do too much…
i had every intention to update the shop with new goodies, but i have to be out of my apartment by month’s end so all of my energy is going into looking for a new place and packing up my stuff.
great thing about packing is i am able to go through everything in my closets. i am re.discovering yarn i forgot i had so now i’m inspired to make some funky stuff after i get settled.
back to packing…
love and light,
butta.fly
shop update
i was cleaning out my closet last weekend and found some hats and bags that i had completely forgotten about (leftovers from the craft fairs i’d done). so this week, i will be adding these items to the shop.
